Clankford is built by the team behind WCAG.ie, so this site has to meet the standard we check other websites against.
The standard
We aim for WCAG 2.2 at level AA across every page of this site.
How we check
Before a change goes live, every page is tested with automated checks (axe-core) at desktop and phone widths, and by hand with a keyboard.
What we have done
- The town plan works with a keyboard. Press Tab to move between buildings and Enter to read about a team.
- Every team's details are also written out in full on the team page.
- Movement is kept short, and it is switched off when your device asks for reduced motion.
- Text colours meet the contrast standard on the dark background.
